BISLEY PETITION

Created on 13th May 2009

Shooters are petitioning the government to use Bisley as the Olympic venue for target shooting in 2012. The petition on the official site of the Prime Minister's office has so far attracted over 700 signatures.

The petition goes further, calling for the government to "return small bore pistols to approved shooting club members."

The deadline to sign the petition is 19 November 2009. Once closed, the petition will be sent to the relevant government department for a response. An email will then be sent to all signatories detailing the government's reaction to the petition. No prizes for guessing the outcome of this one...
