MLAGB SUMMER COMPETITIONS
Created on 13th May 2009
The 2009 shooting season is well underway. Results for the first three competitions of the year are available on the MLAGB website, and show that members clearly weren't idle over the winter.
The next UK competition of particular note is the Pedersoli Challenge, to take place 4-5 July at Wedgnock. Thanks to sponsors Davide Pedersoli and Viking Arms, shooters will be competing to win two fine reproduction muzzle loading firearms, a rifle and a pistol. Be sure to check next month's Target Sports for details.
Teams from the MLAGB represent Great Britain in international competitions. If you would like to be considered for the national team you can sign up at any MLAGB competition or contact the secretary responsible for your chosen discipline. The highlight of this year's international shooting schedule is the European Muzzle Loading Championship, to be held in Spain on 6-13 September. The World Muzzle Loading Championship alternates with the European event; the next will be held in Portugal in 2010.
