MIL SPEC BIPODS FROM GLOBAL RIFLE
Created on 04th August 2009
Long-range and accuracy specialists Global Rifle has developed a new military spec bipod which is now available to the public.
The new Mil Spec swivel (canting) bipods were designed to survive heavy use in Afghanistan. The bipods have a leg notch design, which helps prevent unexpected collapsing of the legs. They are built to high tolerances for strength and durability at Global Rifle's modern manufacturing facility - the same facility that builds parts for most Formula 1 teams.
Like most bipods, they fit directly on to the sling swivel QD stud. Global Rifle's new bipod features adjustable legs and can swivel, useful for uneven terrain.
In order to get an economical manufacture price, Global Rifle had to produce huge quantities of its bipod. As a result, surplus stock is available direct to the public. Three sizes are available: 6-9", 9-13" and 13-27". All three sizes retail at £50.
